The Central Texas-Fort Hood Chapter of the Association of the United States Army needed a way to update their communities on military units deployed overseas, and to team adopting businesses and organizations with soldiers and units in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Putting the Web to Work gave them a new web site that can be updated by WYSIWYG editing tools — no HTML required — and allows them to track hundreds of individual units using the Microsoft Excel spreadsheets they find most convenient.
